2004 french AGM

Beitrag von Gast »

In september 2003, we had the pleasure to meet some international Probe owners during the 10th Anniversary / European meeting we organized in north of France. That was really interesting to share info and exchange views (and items) around Probes from F, B, NL, CZ and UK ! Due to schedule, we missed you, german guys.

As we don't want this to happen again, we invite you to book your schedule for next time : our AGM will stand on 5th & 6th of June, in the middle of France.

One day will be dedicated to the Probe only with an international meeting (details to be published).
The other day will be the opportunity to meet (again) the french MOPAR Owners Club and their big V8s during the Quarter Mile Meeting they organize on the Lurcy-Levis track.

Here's a little Bonus of what you might expect : Mopar Nats Video here (26Mb) ... Nothing to add ...

No pre-registration is required at the moment, but please add it to your plans !

Just some quick news:

Some Probe owners have already confirmed their intention to participate. They are from France (of course), Belgium, Great-Britain, Deutschland, Nederland, Czech Republic ... and maybe Sweden too. :)

Preparation is in progress (might be organized partly in a castle park) ... I'll post more details when these will be available/confirmed.

See you ! :P

Yann,

why don't you just plan your meeting in july and come to Germany to the biggest German Probe Event? That'll be that great an event and Probers of USA would look astonished to Europe... Last year ist was unfortunalty not possible, but this year we could have a great meeting with people from Austria, Swizerland, FRANCE, Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, GB and many more. (Here in Germany, there will be about 100 Probes for sure!)
Don't you think this would be a great challange to be organized?

Think about!

Hallo Saku !

I'm convinced that Greiz is a top meeting, no discussion about it. :)
Same thing: having a shared meeting will be great fun for sure

Problem (if any) is that we just launched officially the Probe Club de France after 2 years of talks. Last year we had this 10th anniversary & european meeting for which people expressed their interest. At the same time we saw the creation of another Probe club in France due to growing demand in the south. So we're now engaged in a process of probers "re-unification" (even if we are going to stick with separate clubs) and we want to have this year the first national meeting with people driving from north and south both. :P
Here's the justification for the location and I personnaly don't really see how to manage it outside of France ... this year.

On top of that, we just take this opportunity to meet again foreign Probe owners and give them the best welcome as we can (trying to improve each year). Feedback we got, but you already experienced it, is that sharing knowledge, views and parts from different countries & cultures was very, very interesting. Language is not a border at all when sharing the same passion. 8)

Anyway, the fact that our meetings will not take place at the same this year, and some contacts I already got, make me think that these 2 meetings are not in competition at all but will fulfill european needs of meeting. We hope so, don't we ?

I hope most of you will be able to take part in the german convoy to visit us !
The same way, I hope many of us will make the effort to drive to Greiz !

Tschuss
Yann

P.S: sorry, there's no "etset" on my keyboard. Do you have any html code for it ?

P.S bis : I already mentioned Greiz on our french forum, but please note that I've added an advert

- all french dragsters + some others
- and ... you, racing in a QMM

This is almost the same distance for drivers from UK & NL ... who confirmed they will come back for this 2nd international meeting ... so there might be a reason to motivate them again. 8)
And I even don't speak about drivers from Sweden and Czech Republic ...

What they plan is of course not to come on saturday and drive back on sunday, but, as you mention, to stay just a little bit more (1 or 2 days).

Where do you live in Deutschland? You may also consider driving the road with other german owners who mentioned to us they will come...

For those who think they will come, please let me know.
Viel dank !
